X-Rate (Cross Exchange Rate)

X-Rate, also known as cross exchange rate, refers to the exchange rate between two currencies that is calculated using a third currency, usually a major one like the US dollar. It is used when a direct currency pair is not available. Cross rates help facilitate international transactions and provide a way to determine accurate conversion values between less commonly traded currencies.
