Exchange Margin

The exchange margin is basically the difference between the rate at which the foreign exchange companies exchange currencies among themselves in the interbank market and the rate at which they deal in currency exchanges with the customers. The exchange margin becomes the cost levied on the customer during the exchange process. The exchange margin also establishes the total quantity of money that will be exchanged.
