Glossary term
Wide Spread Rate
Wide spread rate refers to a large difference between the buying and selling exchange rates offered by a forex provider. A wider spread increases the cost of currency conversion for customers. It may occur during periods of low market liquidity or high volatility. Understanding spread rates helps users choose better forex services and minimize transaction costs.
