Glossary term
Net Currency Settlement
Net currency settlement refers to the process of settling multiple currency transactions by calculating the net payable or receivable amount between parties. Instead of settling each transaction separately, only the net difference is transferred. This reduces transaction volume, lowers costs, and improves efficiency in international trade, banking, and foreign exchange operations.
