Merchant Currency Payments
Merchant currency payments are defined as payments made to sellers and providers of services outside of one’s own country in foreign currency. This type of payment is frequently used when buying goods from other countries, making payments to other vendors and settling foreign charges for various services. The cost of the payment depends on exchange rates and transaction fees.
